Company Intel will soon offer for sale a decent successor of Solid State Drive x25-M with
technology-based memory cells with multi-level cell and will be constructed with the help
of 32-nano-meter technology. The new drives will be devoted to mobile and PC systems in light

Since the new 6.35-cm drives with development code Postville were designed with the help of 32-nano-meter
technology they will be available with capacities up to 320 gigabytes. According to unconfirmed data,
the new Intel drive will transfer data at speeds of up to 100 megabytes per second and record
with speeds of 80 megabytes per second. Miniaturization of the manufacturing process should also
help to further reduction and retail prices of such storage media. New Intel Solid State Drive
supposes to be for 100 U.S. dollars cheaper than the current models of family x25-M.
