As it seems the company AMD has still some reserve in their four-core processors. The new
Phenom II X4 965 will work with frequency of 3,4 GHz. It is also equipped
with integrated memory controller for DDR2 and DDR3 memory, two megabytes L2 cache,
six megabytes of L3 cache and compatibility with Overdrive 3.0.
Due to the high working frequency there is no surprise that the new AMD processor, fully loaded,
consumes up to 140 watts of electrical power. The new Phenomena II X4 965 however unfortunately
cannot compete with the price comparable processors Core 2 Extreme QX9770 and Core I7 920 from
