Gateway has introduced several new computers under the motto "back to school". The systems are divided into two
types. The first represents Gateway's Debbie market for mini-computers. The main model is
SX2800-01 desktop computer. It is just a third of the size of traditional desktop computer
which makes it suitable for small rooms for students since it will take only a few square
decimeters of desk.
500 U.S. dollars worth system is actually quite fast and works pretty compact at first sight.
Its specifications are:

* Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 (2.33GHz)
* Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500
* Intel G43 Express Chipset + ICH10
* 4GB DDR3 SDRAM
* 640GB SATA hard drive

In its miniature housing it hides nine USB connectors, eSATA, mini-FireWire 400 and HDMI interface.
Let's don't forget also GB Ethernet connection, VGA connector and output for 5.1-channel sound.

DX Series

Gateway has also refreshed its DX series of higher-capacity computer systems. Although
the final configuration is still unknown there is a rumor about two models DX4300-03 and
DX4820-02 both in the same case with different configuration.
